Good morning! Or is it a lunch time already? x) Sunday morning it is .. I have the whole day ahead of me and I’m not sure what I should do. I could do something around the house, not quite sure what x) Guess how much my upstairs project has improved since the last post about it.. (see it HERE) not much… I haven’t done ANYTHING! Well, the picture frames are on the wall now! And to me that is a miracle instead of achievement!! 😀 But I still haven’t decided what to put in those. I did try with my wallpaper leftovers in first two. But I wasn’t convinced! Gotta keep looking… I’ve never ever felt this stuck with something x) Our garage is a mess too, It needs a serious inventory! But if I had to choose, I’ll probably go back struggling with my picture frames. Hehe…
Anyways, this weekend has been busy as well. Last night we went for a little stroll into the woods after work. We went to one of my favourite places in here. Our dog enjoyed her swimming as always.. we had coffee and cookies with us x) In overall, it was a nice way to spend Saturday night and finally start our weekend. Spending time in outdoors plays a huge role in my life. It is something what gives me energy and a peace of mind!
Alright, maybe I should get up, brush my hair, and face the world today 🙂 Who knows, maybe I get something done today!
It’s the peony season and I can’t get it enough of it!!! I wish peonies could be in season year-round. It is my favourite flower on the planet!!!!
I usually place my flower bouquets into my tall glass vase, they are there about 2-3 days and then I cut the peduncle shorter also changing the vase and locating them on the dining table or somewhere else in the house. I don’t have a green thumb but this way, I hope I can keep them alive for quite some time. In the end for those ones that are still OK I cut the peduncle completely off and they end up to my candle holders etc. 🙂 Anyone else out there madly in love with peonies?
How was your weekend? 🙂 We had a very busy one and we had special guests coming to our house for the first time.
Party time excellent !!!
I didn’t have too much time to be fully prepared so I fixed up some sandwiches, the cake and cookies are from the store, and some candy to the mix 🙂 I haven’t had a chance to bake anything lately and now that the weather is way warmer I don’t feel like heating up the house with the oven! But I probably should start stocking up my freezer with home baked goods so I would be more prepared the next time 🙂
