Bonjour!

Oh Paris, what an amazing city. It was even better than I expected. Really! I knew that it was going to be beautiful in every way, but I wasn’t prepared to be blown away completely! We walked and tried to see as much as we could in our short stay there. But next time (Oh yes, I’ll be back) I wanna stay longer and see more ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have too many pictures from the trip but I put together some and I split them into two posts and here’s the first set from our trip. ๐Ÿ™‚

This was my first view of the Eiffel tower. I dropped my bags right there in awe to take a picture ๐Ÿ˜€ Eiffel tower was just around the corner from our hotel.

Brunch. I love everything about it! and the best part is if you can enjoy it in a good company without any rush. Our friends invited us for dinner that night so instead of breakfast and lunch I wanted to do a big brunch with mimosas and everything ๐Ÿ˜‰ After eating slowly and enjoying every bite we went for a walk with our dog and then started getting ready for dinner. So simple, yet so perfect Saturday! More these!

Have a lovely Sunday!

Home Sweet Home

First things first, I had to get fresh flowers when we got back home. A couple of hydrangeas for the living room and pink peonies on the dining table. It just makes the home landing softer ๐Ÿ˜‰

Even though we’ve been home since Friday evening, I’m still very much exhausted. But I’ve been taking it easy and slowly recovering from the amazing trip we had. Packs are unpacked. Laundry done. Spent one whole day in bed. Saw friends and gone out for walks and trying to get back on the workout routine. What an incredible vacation behind but at the same time it feels good to be home. It was quite a shock to come back and see how extremely dry it is here. All of the crazy forest fires going on and all! I hope I could send some sun from here to Finland and get some rain back for exchange – not too much though ๐Ÿ˜€ But enough to stable the ground.

Next I’m planning to go through my Paris pics and hopefully my computer won’t crash after I’ve downloaded them all x)

Area Rug

Here’s a couple pics from the dining area as I promised! Like I said probably not the most practical rug to put under dining table, but I really like it. Remember this rug is “on its way” to get cleaned so I’m not too worried about it right now. Also those chairs used to make a lot of noise while sitting in them and that noise disappeared completely because of the rug.

Our trip to Paris and Finland is coming fast! I have so many things to do this weekend before our take off. I haven’t even started to pack yet. Well, I’ve been holding my packing on purpose so that our dog won’t freak out. But I should probably get on it pretty soon. Like now. I also wanna clean the whole house completely before we leave so that it’s nice and clean to come back to!

Alright, I know this was a short hi but I should probably go and start doing something.. Anything. My list is so long that I don’t know where to start. ๐Ÿ™‚ But I’m trying to get back here before we take off!

Happy Midsummer Finland / Hyvรครค Juhannusta!
