Disneyland

Of course we had to go to Disneyland!;) My last visit there was so many years ago that we had to go back, no matter what 😀 However we did realize how many things we missed the first time. So it was pretty much a new experience all over again! I remember last time when we were there, it was around July or August and it was boiling hot. Now the weather was still hot but nothing like it was the first time. It was way more enjoyable to be on your feet the whole day! Here’s a few random pictures of that day!

Everyone should get to experience the wonders of Disneyland. It’s a perfect place to spend a day 🙂

Breathtaking Malibu

My “not feeling so great” turned out to be the worst fever-flu bug ever!!!!! I’ve been in bed for the whole week! I never get sick, like EVER.. and if I start feeling that a flu or what ever is coming up –  I’m able to bounce back very quickly. This time, the whole “being sick” thing got to another level. I’m still feeling very weak.. I can’t sit for very long, my appetite is non existent, and I’m too tired even to speak. Oh man. Can’t wait this to be all over!

In our L.A. trip we drove around in Malibu one day. This was my first time in Malibu and what a breathtaking place it is. So beautiful and peaceful, just the way I like it. 😉 Those mountain roads gave me a heart attack or two but other than that I was mesmerized.

Los Angeles

Finally back home after our long L.A. getaway. Everything seems to be the way we left the house – messy. 😀 I usually try to clean before we take off, so it’s nice to come back to a clean home. This time, I didn’t have the time 😉 And for now, my vacuum cleaner can still wait a little longer, since after returning home I haven’t been feeling so great. But I gathered my strength enough to get some update for the blog 😉 Feels like it’s been forever since my last post!!

Now that I’ve been going through our pictures and it looks like we had a nice and relaxing vacation 😉 We didn’t plan much what we were going to do. First couple days we had commitments and after that we just went with the flow. We stayed at the Huntington Beach Hyatt Regency just right by the beach. Oh how I miss that and all the other beautiful beaches! On the weekdays, the beaches were pretty much empty, but when the weekend came they were packed. So what we did, we explored a lot of different beaches, had pool coma in the mornings, a lot of good food and we squeezed a hike or two in there too. (Does Disney day count as a hike?:D) In overall it felt really good to get some new surroundings and of course it feels good to be back home! Not to mention how much I missed my puppy!

We rented bikes and biked to the New Port village. Probably one of the highlights of our trip!

Alright. Here’s what I have for now. More to come 😉

Easter Weekend

How was your Easter Weekend? Mine was lazy and relaxed in overall! We didn’t spend that much time in outdoors that I hoped.. But I think that’s ok 🙂 Sometimes it’s nice to just be and do nothing really. Do you agree? 😉 Well I wasn’t completely lazy – I got some chairs for our Patio! It’s still unfinished and ongoing project but I was happy to at least get the chairs there. I have to post about it later!

So, I’ve had some free time to catch up with my “reading” .. watch a lot of movies and just chilling. I wanted some colour in the bedroom for the summer and I found this DKNY throw from Home Sense! I love how soft and warm the throw is. And this soft raspberry colour is one of my favourites! I love it!

My throw expert wants to come and test it out too 😀 Whenever I take my throw out she’s right there offering some warm cuddles and company! And she likes to sleep under the throw .. and I mean the whole dog under there. I don’t get it how she gets air .. but she seems to enjoy it.
